MitoSpermidin
MitoSpermidin® is built around a single, deceptively simple idea: give the body's cells back a molecule they naturally lose over time.
The formula is centered on Spirulina platensis, a microalgae naturally rich in spermidine, a compound found in almost all cells of the body whose concentration declines with age.
Spermidine, zinc, and vitamin D3 are grouped by the manufacturer under a specific concept: these are described as "mitotropic" substances that occur in the mitochondria — the part of the cell where energy is generated from food — and are therefore also referred to as "Mitoceuticals.
" Spermidine's core role in this system is tied to autophagy, the process by which the body's cells renew themselves and clear out damaged components; as the body's own spermidine production drops with age, cells have less of it available to activate that process.
Zinc is included as zinc bis-glycinate, a highly bioavailable organic chelate form, and it isn't just a passenger ingredient — it plays a role in supporting the immune system, cognitive function, DNA synthesis, and protecting cells from oxidative stress, alongside a role in the process of cell division.
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) rounds out the formula, contributing to normal immune function alongside zinc.
A practical detail worth noting for sensitive users: because the Spirulina platensis is cultivated in soda lakes rather than the sea, it is naturally low in iodine and considered suitable for people who are iodine-sensitive.
