Silicium FerroFem is a German-made, vegan iron formula designed around a six-mechanism approach to iron repletion rather than a single high-dose mineral.

Instead of relying on harsh ferrous sulfate, it combines dual chelated iron — iron(II) fumarate and iron(II) gluconate — which research suggests is gentler on the GI tract than standard sulphate forms while remaining highly bioavailable.

The formula is built as an antioxidant-supported delivery system: activated silicon helps stabilise iron in its more absorbable ferrous (Fe²⁺) state, while vitamin C from rosehip extract further maintains this active form and enhances non-haem iron absorption.
