ZinkoMit delivers 15mg of elemental zinc per capsule in the bisglycinate (chelated) form — zinc bound to the amino acid glycine, which the body absorbs and utilizes more efficiently than conventional zinc salts, with cross-over research showing meaningfully higher blood zinc levels compared to zinc gluconate. 

Zinc is a cofactor for hundreds of enzymes governing carbohydrate, lipid, protein, and nucleic acid metabolism, DNA synthesis, and repair — and, as part of zinc-finger proteins, plays a direct role in how DNA is read and expressed.
